Keith Bradbury
Newfoundland and Labrador is a top ranked jurisdiction for mining investment and
development. The Department of Energy and Mines encourages mineral development
within the province through public geoscience, mineral rights administration, exploration
supports and clear mining project regulatory and policy frameworks. Keith Bradbury is
the Director of Mineral Development with the Department of Energy and Mines,
Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. He holds a commerce degree (finance)
from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador and began his career in
business analysis, financial analysis, and project consulting. Since joining the
department in 2003, he has held several roles in the area of mineral development, as
well as serving as Director of Electricity and Alternative Energy. In his current role, Keith
engages stakeholders to support the development and implementation of mineral policy
and legislation to promote industry growth and investment. He also leads a technical
team responsible for industry analysis, exploration supports, mine permitting under the
provincial Mining Act, and the management of orphaned and abandoned mines.
